Rage against the machine have ACTUALLY done it!

Yep, it’s officially just confirmed by BBC Radio 1 on the official singles chart. The power of a facebook group is immensely powerful. Not only did they achieve getting “Killing in the name” to number one in the U.K singles chart, they also beat the almost traditionally x-factor monopoly of being Christmas number 1.

The song is far from the traditional pop ballad or feel-good medley that we normally expect. Still. It just shows to go that amazing things can happen from an unlikely proposal. The best part is probably that the profits from the sales of it are being kindly donated to charity. Things are gonna be looking up for alot of people this Christmas :)

(and if its any consolation, Joe will probably be number 1 the week after Christmas anyway)

Number 1

Number 1

He did it. Mr. Federer took the year number 1 ranking and with it became only the second player in history to lose and then eventually regain the year end number one ranking.  After beating Andy Murray, it guaranteed that there was no possible way for Nadal to achieve more ranking points by the end of the tournament.

  • Spent a record 237 consecutive weeks at number 1
  • On a streak of 21 consecutive weeks currently
  • Will likely finish the year with over $7 million just in prize money….
