Yep, it’s officially just confirmed by BBC Radio 1 on the official singles chart. The power of a facebook group is immensely powerful. Not only did they achieve getting “Killing in the name” to number one in the U.K singles chart, they also beat the almost traditionally x-factor monopoly of being Christmas number 1.
The song is far from the traditional pop ballad or feel-good medley that we normally expect. Still. It just shows to go that amazing things can happen from an unlikely proposal. The best part is probably that the profits from the sales of it are being kindly donated to charity. Things are gonna be looking up for alot of people this Christmas
(and if its any consolation, Joe will probably be number 1 the week after Christmas anyway)
Over the past couple of months, there had been at least 3 attempts to rob ATM machines using a digger. The latest try was last night in Co. Monaghan but the men failed and just managed to damage the wall.
A few weeks ago an ATM machines was actually robbed by the same way, and right across from a Garda station………..
Came across this with the help of @Jayeire. It’s obviously a joke but funny all the same. Peoples opinion really did completely change of Michael Jackson when he died, including my own. I even bought one of his CD’s! It just goes to show that you really dont know what you got till it’s gone..
